Para 21 - اُتْلُ مَاۤ اُوْحِیَ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

33.19

اَشِحَّةً عَلَیْكُمْ ۚۖ-فَاِذَا جَآءَ الْخَوْفُ رَاَیْتَهُمْ یَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَیْكَ تَدُوْرُ اَعْیُنُهُمْ كَالَّذِیْ یُغْشٰى عَلَیْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِۚ-فَاِذَا ذَهَبَ الْخَوْفُ سَلَقُوْكُمْ بِاَلْسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ اَشِحَّةً عَلَى الْخَیْرِؕ-اُولٰٓىٕكَ لَمْ یُؤْمِنُوْا فَاَحْبَطَ اللّٰهُ اَعْمَالَهُمْؕ-وَ كَانَ ذٰلِكَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ یَسِیْرًا(19)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

English translation of Kanz-ul-Imaan

They are reluctant in helping you; then when the time of fear comes, you will observe them looking at you in such a manner with their eyes rolling like death has enclosed someone. Then when the time of fear is over, they begin to taunt you with sharp tongues in greed for the spoils of war; these people have not accepted faith; henceforth, Allah has nullified their (good) deeds, and this is easy for Allah.

Commentary

Through the state of the hypocrites that was mentioned in this verse, it becomes known that not supporting someone in need while claiming devotion to them is a hallmark of hypocrites. Believers on the other hand act and support the faithful in difficulty. Allah Almighty has given us only one tongue to speak and more limbs for other actions. Therefore, a person should strive to speak less and work more.
