Para 18 - قَدْ اَفْلَحَ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

24.62

اِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَ رَسُوْلِهٖ وَ اِذَا كَانُوْا مَعَهٗ عَلٰۤى اَمْرٍ جَامِعٍ لَّمْ یَذْهَبُوْا حَتّٰى یَسْتَاْذِنُوْهُؕ-اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ یَسْتَاْذِنُوْنَكَ اُولٰٓىٕكَ الَّذِیْنَ یُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَ رَسُوْلِهٖۚ-فَاِذَا اسْتَاْذَنُوْكَ لِبَعْضِ شَاْنِهِمْ فَاْذَنْ لِّمَنْ شِئْتَ مِنْهُمْ وَ اسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمُ اللّٰهَؕ-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِیْمٌ(62)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

English translation of Kanz-ul-Imaan

The believers are only those who believed in Allah and His Messenger, and when they are present in the august court of the Messenger regarding any such matter for which they have been gathered, they should not therefore go away until they have taken his permission. Those who seek your permission (O Beloved) are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger; so, if they seek your permission for some matter of theirs, give permission to whomsoever you wish amongst them, and seek the forgiveness of Allah for them; indeed, Allah is Most Forgiving, Ever Merciful.

Commentary

The etiquette of the Beloved Prophet’s gathering is that one should not leave without permission; this is why those who visit his blessed resting place seek permission to leave by presenting their farewell salām.
