Para 13 - وَ مَاۤ اُبَرِّئُ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

13.41

اَوَ لَمْ یَرَوْا اَنَّا نَاْتِی الْاَرْضَ نَنْقُصُهَا مِنْ اَطْرَافِهَاؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ یَحْكُمُ لَا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِهٖؕ-وَ هُوَ سَرِیْعُ الْحِسَابِ(41)

English translation of Kanz-ul-Imaan

Do they not perceive that We are reducing their land from all directions? And Allah gives command; there is no one that can postpone His command. And He does not take long in taking account.

Commentary

Turning away from the obedience of Allah Almighty leads to ruin in this world, and despite its vastness, the earth becomes constricted for the sinners. The annals of history testify that as long as Muslims remained obedient to Allah Almighty, they enjoyed power and progress, but when they disobeyed the Almighty, their settlements suffered and the lands of Islam gradually became less. Unfortunately, it seems as if Muslims are repeating the mistakes of the past instead of learning from them.
