Surah Al Ma'arij Ayat 10 Tafseer

Para 29 - تَبٰرَكَ الَّذِیْ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

70.10-14

وَ لَا یَسْــٴَـلُ حَمِیْمٌ حَمِیْمًاﭕ(10) یُّبَصَّرُوْنَهُمْؕ-یَوَدُّ الْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ یَفْتَدِیْ مِنْ عَذَابِ یَوْمِىٕذٍۭ بِبَنِیْهِۙ (11) وَ صَاحِبَتِهٖ وَ اَخِیْهِۙ (12) وَ فَصِیْلَتِهِ الَّتِیْ تُــٴْـوِ یْهِۙ (13) وَ مَنْ فِی الْاَرْضِ جَمِیْعًاۙ-ثُمَّ یُنْجِیْهِۙ (14)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

and a friend will not ask about a friend. They will be shown to them; on that Day, the wrongdoer will wish that he could be ransomed to be saved from punishment by offering his sons. And his wife and his brother. And his family who give him refuge. And whosoever is in the earth, all of them, then it (this ransom) would save him.[1]

Commentary

On the Day of Judgement, a disbeliever will no longer love any of his relatives, and he will wish that his children, wife, brother, family, and all the people of the earth are cast into Hell instead of him.
