Para 25 - اِلَیْهِ یُرَدُّ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

42.24

اَمْ یَقُوْلُوْنَ افْتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًاۚ-فَاِنْ یَّشَاِ اللّٰهُ یَخْتِمْ عَلٰى قَلْبِكَؕ-وَ یَمْحُ اللّٰهُ الْبَاطِلَ وَ یُحِقُّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمٰتِهٖؕ-اِنَّهٗ عَلِیْمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ(24)

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

Rather they (the disbelievers) say, “He has fabricated a lie against Allah.” If Allah wills, He will seal your heart ˹with patience˺. [1] And Allah eradicates falsehood and establishes the truth through His words. Certainly, He knows the matters of the heart.

Commentary

The disbelievers accused the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم of ascribing a lie to Allah Almighty, and this offended him. As a result, it was said to the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم that if Allah Almighty wants, He will bring him comfort by placing a seal of patience on his heart. This part of the verse can also mean that if the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم had hypothetically ascribed a lie to Allah Almighty, He certainly would have placed a seal on his heart, which would have resulted in the Quran being removed from it. Hence, as Allah Almighty has not placed such a seal on his heart, we know that the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم did not ascribe a lie to Him, and that this claim of the disbelievers itself is the worst of lies.
