Surah Al Adiyat Urdu Translation

100.1

وَ الْعٰدِیٰتِ ضَبْحًاۙ (1)

By the galloping horses, panting. [1]

100.2

فَالْمُوْرِیٰتِ قَدْحًاۙ (2)

Then by those who raise sparks by striking their hooves.

100.3

فَالْمُغِیْرٰتِ صُبْحًاۙ (3)

Then by the raiders at dawn.

100.4

فَاَثَرْنَ بِهٖ نَقْعًاۙ (4)

So at that time, they raise clouds of dust

100.5

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهٖ جَمْعًاۙ (5)

Then at that time, they charge into the heart of the opposing army.

100.6

اِنَّ الْاِنْسَانَ لِرَبِّهٖ لَكَنُوْدٌۚ (6)

Man is indeed most ungrateful to His Lord, [1]

100.7

وَ اِنَّهٗ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ لَشَهِیْدٌۚ (7)

he himself is a witness to that,

100.8

وَ اِنَّهٗ لِحُبِّ الْخَیْرِ لَشَدِیْدٌﭤ(8)

and he is most extreme in his love for wealth. [1]

100.9

اَفَلَا یَعْلَمُ اِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِی الْقُبُوْرِۙ (9)

Does he not know that when those who are in the grave are resurrected

100.10

وَ حُصِّلَ مَا فِی الصُّدُوْرِۙ (10)

and that which is ˹concealed˺ in the chests will be revealed;
