Surah Ar Rad Urdu Translation

13.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the name of Allah, the Infinitely Gracious, the Most Merciful.

13.1

الٓـمّٓرٰ- تِلْكَ اٰیٰتُ الْكِتٰبِؕ-وَ الَّذِیْۤ اُنْزِلَ اِلَیْكَ مِنْ رَّبِّكَ الْحَقُّ وَ لٰـكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا یُؤْمِنُوْنَ(1)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Alif Lām Mīm Rā. These are verses of the Book. And that which was sent down to you from your Lord is the Truth, however most people do not embrace faith.

13.2

اَللّٰهُ الَّذِیْ رَفَعَ السَّمٰوٰتِ بِغَیْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ وَ سَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَ الْقَمَرَؕ-كُلٌّ یَّجْرِیْ لِاَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّىؕ-یُدَبِّرُ الْاَمْرَ یُفَصِّلُ الْاٰیٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوْقِنُوْنَ(2)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

It is Allah who raised the heavens without pillars which you may observe,[1] then He performed istiwā upon the Throne ˹as befits His Greatness,˺ and He made the Sun and Moon compliant; each will orbit for a specified term. Allah decides the matter; He states His signs in detail so that you may be certain of meeting your Lord.

13.3

وَ هُوَ الَّذِیْ مَدَّ الْاَرْضَ وَ جَعَلَ فِیْهَا رَوَاسِیَ وَ اَنْهٰرًاؕ-وَ مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ جَعَلَ فِیْهَا زَوْجَیْنِ اثْنَیْنِ یُغْشِی الَّیْلَ النَّهَارَؕ-اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ یَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَ(3)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And it is He who spread the earth and made unyielding mountains and rivers therein; and every kind of fruit of two types, He conceals the day with the night; in this there are signs for those who reflect.

13.4

وَ فِی الْاَرْضِ قِطَعٌ مُّتَجٰوِرٰتٌ وَّ جَنّٰتٌ مِّنْ اَعْنَابٍ وَّ زَرْعٌ وَّ نَخِیْلٌ صِنْوَانٌ وَّ غَیْرُ صِنْوَانٍ یُّسْقٰى بِمَآءٍ وَّاحِدٍ- وَ نُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَهَا عَلٰى بَعْضٍ فِی الْاُكُلِؕ-اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ یَّعْقِلُوْنَ(4)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And in the earth, there are parts near each other, vineyards, crops, and palms from one root or separate roots; they are watered with one water. And we give excellence to some fruit over others; in this there are signs for the intelligent.

13.5

وَ اِنْ تَعْجَبْ فَعَجَبٌ قَوْلُهُمْ ءَاِذَا كُنَّا تُرٰبًا ءَاِنَّا لَفِیْ خَلْقٍ جَدِیْدٍ ﱟ اُولٰٓىٕكَ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِرَبِّهِمْۚ-وَ اُولٰٓىٕكَ الْاَغْلٰلُ فِیْۤ اَعْنَاقِهِمْۚ-وَ اُولٰٓىٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ النَّارِۚ-هُمْ فِیْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ(5)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And if you are surprised then ˹truly˺ surprising is their statement, “When we become dust, then will we be created again?” These are the very people who disbelieved in their Lord. And these very people will have iron collars around their necks, and it is they who are the people of the Fire; they will reside therein forever.

13.6

وَ یَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَكَ بِالسَّیِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ وَ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمُ الْمَثُلٰتُؕ-وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُوْ مَغْفِرَةٍ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلٰى ظُلْمِهِمْۚ-وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِیْدُ الْعِقَابِ(6)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

They ask you to hasten the punishment rather than mercy. Undoubtedly, punishments have come to pass before them. Your Lord is One who forgives, despite their misdeeds—and your Lord is severe in retribution.

13.7

وَ یَقُوْلُ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَوْ لَاۤ اُنْزِلَ عَلَیْهِ اٰیَةٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّهٖؕ-اِنَّمَاۤ اَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ وَّ لِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ۠ (7)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Those who disbelieve say, “Why has no sign been sent down upon him from his Lord?”[1] (O Beloved Prophet!) You are a warner and a guide for every nation.

13.8

اَللّٰهُ یَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ اُنْثٰى وَ مَا تَغِیْضُ الْاَرْحَامُ وَ مَا تَزْدَادُؕ-وَ كُلُّ شَیْءٍ عِنْدَهٗ بِمِقْدَارٍ(8)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Allah knows that which every female carries (in her womb), and that which the wombs decrease, and that which they increase. And everything has a proportion with Him.

13.9

عٰلِمُ الْغَیْبِ وَ الشَّهَادَةِ الْكَبِیْرُ الْمُتَعَالِ(9)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Knower of the concealed and the apparent, the Most-Great, the Most-Exalted.
