Surah Al Imran Urdu Translation

3.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

In the name of Allah, the Infinitely Gracious, the Most Merciful.

3.1

الٓمَّٓۙ (1)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Alif Lām Mīm.

3.2

اللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۙ-الْحَیُّ الْقَیُّوْمُﭤ(2)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Allah, there is none worthy of worship but Him; He is the Self-Existing, the Sustainer of others.[1]

3.3

نَزَّلَ عَلَیْكَ الْكِتٰبَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَیْنَ یَدَیْهِ وَ اَنْزَلَ التَّوْرٰىةَ وَ الْاِنْجِیْلَۙ (3)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

He sent down this Book of Truth (the Holy Quran) to you, confirming the Books of the past, and He revealed the ˹original˺ Torah and the ˹original˺ Gospel.[1]

3.4

مِنْ قَبْلُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَ اَنْزَلَ الْفُرْقَانَ۬ؕ-اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِیْدٌؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ عَزِیْزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ(4)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

prior to this, providing guidance for people and He (Allah) sent down the Criterion. Indeed, those who rejected the verses of Allah, there is severe punishment for them—and Allah is Predominant, One Who inflicts retribution.

3.5

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا یَخْفٰى عَلَیْهِ شَیْءٌ فِی الْاَرْضِ وَ لَا فِی السَّمَآءِﭤ(5)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Indeed, nothing is concealed from Allah in the earth or in the heavens.[1]

3.6

هُوَ الَّذِیْ یُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِی الْاَرْحَامِ كَیْفَ یَشَآءُؕ-لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الْحَكِیْمُ(6)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

It is He, who creates your form within the wombs ˹of mothers˺ as He wills.[1] There is none worthy of worship except Him—˹He is˺ the Almighty, the Most-Wise.

3.7

هُوَ الَّذِیْۤ اَنْزَلَ عَلَیْكَ الْكِتٰبَ مِنْهُ اٰیٰتٌ مُّحْكَمٰتٌ هُنَّ اُمُّ الْكِتٰبِ وَ اُخَرُ مُتَشٰبِهٰتٌؕ-فَاَمَّا الَّذِیْنَ فِیْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ زَیْغٌ فَیَتَّبِعُوْنَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَآءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَ ابْتِغَآءَ تَاْوِیْلِهٖ ﳘ وَ مَا یَعْلَمُ تَاْوِیْلَهٗۤ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ ﳕ وَ الرّٰسِخُوْنَ فِی الْعِلْمِ یَقُوْلُوْنَ اٰمَنَّا بِهٖۙ-كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَاۚ-وَ مَا یَذَّكَّرُ اِلَّاۤ اُولُوا الْاَلْبَابِ(7)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

It is He, Who sent down the Book to you, some of its verses have a clear meaning; they are the foundation of the Book, and the other verses are those that have ambiguity in meaning.[1] So as for those who carry deviation in their hearts so they follow that which is unclear from the verses desiring to spread discord ˹among people˺ and seeking ˹false˺ interpretation,[2] even though their correct interpretation is only known by Allah. And those who are profound in knowledge,[3] they say, “We have believed in this, all ˹this˺ is from our Lord,” and none attain advice except the possessors of insight.[4]

3.8

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوْبَنَا بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَیْتَنَا وَ هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَةًۚ-اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ(8)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

“O our Lord! Do not cause our hearts to deviate after guiding us, and endow us with mercy from Your Court, indeed, You are the Great-Endower.

3.9

رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِیَوْمٍ لَّا رَیْبَ فِیْهِؕ-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا یُخْلِفُ الْمِیْعَادَ۠ (9)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

O our Lord! Indeed, You will gather all people on the day about which there is no doubt.” Indeed, Allah does not go against His word.[1]
