Surah Al Ankabut Urdu Translation

29.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

In the name of Allah, the Infinitely Gracious, the Most Merciful.

29.1

الٓمّٓۚ (1)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Alif Lām Mīm.

29.2

اَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ اَنْ یُّتْرَكُوْۤا اَنْ یَّقُوْلُوْۤا اٰمَنَّا وَ هُمْ لَا یُفْتَنُوْنَ(2)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Do people think they will be left as they say, “We believe”, and they will not be tested?[1]

29.3

وَ لَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِیْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَلَیَعْلَمَنَّ اللّٰهُ الَّذِیْنَ صَدَقُوْا وَ لَیَعْلَمَنَّ الْكٰذِبِیْنَ(3)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And We certainly tested those who preceded you so Allah will most definitely see those who are truthful, and He will most definitely see the liars.

29.4

اَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِیْنَ یَعْمَلُوْنَ السَّیِّاٰتِ اَنْ یَّسْبِقُوْنَاؕ-سَآءَ مَا یَحْكُمُوْنَ(4)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Or do those who commit evil think they will escape Us? What a terrible decision they make.

29.5

مَنْ كَانَ یَرْجُوْا لِقَآءَ اللّٰهِ فَاِنَّ اَجَلَ اللّٰهِ لَاٰتٍؕ-وَ هُوَ السَّمِیْعُ الْعَلِیْمُ(5)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Whosoever hopes to meet Allah so indeed the appointed time of Allah will come;[1] and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

29.6

وَ مَنْ جَاهَدَ فَاِنَّمَا یُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهٖؕ-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَغَنِیٌّ عَنِ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(6)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And whosoever strives, then he strives for his soul.[1] Indeed, Allah is Independent of all the worlds.

29.7

وَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَیِّاٰتِهِمْ وَ لَنَجْزِیَنَّهُمْ اَحْسَنَ الَّذِیْ كَانُوْا یَعْمَلُوْنَ(7)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And those who believed and performed righteous deeds, We shall most definitely erase their sins from them and We will most certainly recompense them for the best of their deeds.

29.8

وَ وَصَّیْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَیْهِ حُسْنًاؕ-وَ اِنْ جَاهَدٰكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِیْ مَا لَیْسَ لَكَ بِهٖ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَاؕ-اِلَیَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَاُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ(8)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And We have enjoined kindness upon man to his parents. And if they strive to make you ascribe a partner ˹to Me˺ which you have no knowledge of, then do not obey them.[1] To Me ˹alone˺ is your return, then I will relate to you your deeds.

29.9

وَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَنُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ فِی الصّٰلِحِیْنَ(9)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And those who believe and do righteous deeds, so We shall certainly include them among the righteous.
