Surah Taha Urdu Translation

20.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the name of Allah, the Infinitely Gracious, the Most Merciful.

20.1

طٰهٰۚ (1)

Tā Hā.

20.2

مَاۤ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلَیْكَ الْقُرْاٰنَ لِتَشْقٰۤىۙ (2)

˹Dear Beloved Prophet,˺ We did not reveal this Quran to you that you may be burdened.

20.3

اِلَّا تَذْكِرَةً لِّمَنْ یَّخْشٰىۙ (3)

It is but advice for the one who fears ˹his Lord˺.

20.4

تَنْزِیْلًا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ الْاَرْضَ وَ السَّمٰوٰتِ الْعُلٰىﭤ(4)

Revealed from He Who created the earth and the high heavens.

20.5

اَلرَّحْمٰنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوٰى(5)

The Infinitely Gracious, performed Istiwā over the Divine Throne ˹as befits Him˺.[1]

20.6

لَهٗ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَا فِی الْاَرْضِ وَ مَا بَیْنَهُمَا وَ مَا تَحْتَ الثَّرٰى(6)

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and all that lies between them and whatever is beneath the moist soil.

20.7

وَ اِنْ تَجْهَرْ بِالْقَوْلِ فَاِنَّهٗ یَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ وَ اَخْفٰى(7)

And if you speak aloud, so indeed He is aware of the secret and that which is more concealed.

20.8

اَللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَؕ-لَهُ الْاَسْمَآءُ الْحُسْنٰى(8)

Allah, there is none worthy of worship but Him; ˹all˺ most beautiful names belong to Him.[1]

20.9

وَ هَلْ اَتٰىكَ حَدِیْثُ مُوْسٰىﭥ(9)

And did the news of Mūsā come to you?
