Surah Al Buruj Urdu Translation

85.1

وَ السَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوْجِۙ (1)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

By the sky possessing constellations. [1]

85.2

وَ الْیَوْمِ الْمَوْعُوْدِۙ (2)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And the Promised Day,

85.3

وَ شَاهِدٍ وَّ مَشْهُوْدٍﭤ(3)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And by the Witness Day and by the Day people attend. [1]

85.4

قُتِلَ اَصْحٰبُ الْاُخْدُوْدِۙ (4)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Woe to the people of the ditch[1]

85.5

النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُوْدِۙ (5)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

of the blazing fire.

85.6

اِذْ هُمْ عَلَیْهَا قُعُوْدٌۙ (6)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

When they were sitting around it.

85.7

وَّ هُمْ عَلٰى مَا یَفْعَلُوْنَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ شُهُوْدٌﭤ(7)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the believers.

85.8

وَ مَا نَقَمُوْا مِنْهُمْ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ یُّؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَزِیْزِ الْحَمِیْدِۙ (8)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And they were only averse to this that they (Muslims) embraced faith in Allah, the Most-Exalted, the Most-Praiseworthy, [1]

85.9

الَّذِیْ لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَیْءٍ شَهِیْدٌﭤ(9)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

to Whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is a Witness over everything.

85.10

اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ یَتُوْبُوْا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَ لَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِیْقِﭤ(10)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Surely, those who persecuted the believing men and the believing women, then they did not repent, there is the punishment of Hell for them and there is the punishment of fire for them.
