Surah Muhammad Urdu Translation

47.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

In the name of Allah, the Infinitely Gracious, the Most Merciful.

47.1

اَلَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَ صَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰهِ اَضَلَّ اَعْمَالَهُمْ(1)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Those who disbelieved and prevented from the way of Allah, He has destroyed their deeds. [1]

47.2

وَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَ اٰمَنُوْا بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْۙ-كَفَّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَیِّاٰتِهِمْ وَ اَصْلَحَ بَالَهُمْ(2)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And those who believed and performed righteous deeds and believed in that which was revealed to Muhammad, and it is the truth from their Lord, [1] He has erased their sins and rectified their condition.

47.3

ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوا اتَّبَعُوا الْبَاطِلَ وَ اَنَّ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّبَعُوا الْحَقَّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْؕ-كَذٰلِكَ یَضْرِبُ اللّٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ اَمْثَالَهُمْ(3)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

This is because the disbelievers followed falsehood[1] and the believers followed the truth from their Lord. [2] Thus Allah states their examples to people.

47.4

فَاِذَا لَقِیْتُمُ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَضَرْبَ الرِّقَابِؕ-حَتّٰۤى اِذَاۤ اَثْخَنْتُمُوْهُمْ فَشُدُّوا الْوَثَاقَۙ-فَاِمَّا مَنًّۢا بَعْدُ وَ اِمَّا فِدَآءً حَتّٰى تَضَعَ الْحَرْبُ اَوْزَارَهَا ﲰذٰلِكَ ﳍوَ لَوْ یَشَآءُ اللّٰهُ لَانْتَصَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَ لٰـكِنْ لِّیَبْلُوَاۡ بَعْضَكُمْ بِبَعْضٍؕ-وَ الَّذِیْنَ قُتِلُوْا فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰهِ فَلَنْ یُّضِلَّ اَعْمَالَهُمْ(4)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

So when you meet the disbelievers ˹in battle˺, strike their necks until when you have killed many of them, [1] then bind them (the prisoners) tightly, then after that either release them in good will or take a ransom until war lays down its burden. [2] This ˹is the command˺. And had Allah willed, He would certainly have taken retribution from them, however, (this command was given) so that He may test some of you through others. [3] And those who are killed in the way of Allah, He will never annul their deeds.

47.5

سَیَهْدِیْهِمْ وَ یُصْلِحُ بَالَهُمْۚ (5)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Soon He will guide them and rectify their condition.

47.6

وَ یُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ عَرَّفَهَا لَهُمْ(6)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And He will make them enter Paradise which He has made known to them.

47.7

یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اِنْ تَنْصُرُوا اللّٰهَ یَنْصُرْكُمْ وَ یُثَبِّتْ اَقْدَامَكُمْ(7)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

O you who believe! If you help ˹the religion of˺ Allah, He will help you and grant you steadfastness. [1]

47.8

وَ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَتَعْسًا لَّهُمْ وَ اَضَلَّ اَعْمَالَهُمْ(8)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And those who disbelieved, so there is destruction for them and He annulled their deeds.

47.9

ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَرِهُوْا مَاۤ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاَحْبَطَ اَعْمَالَهُمْ(9)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

This is because they were averse to that which Allah revealed, so He destroyed their deeds.
