Surah Al Baiyinah Urdu Translation

98.1

لَمْ یَكُنِ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ وَ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ مُنْفَكِّیْنَ حَتّٰى تَاْتِیَهُمُ الْبَیِّنَةُۙ (1)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

The disbelieving People of the Book and the polytheists were not ready to leave their religion[1] until a clear proof came to them.

98.2

رَسُوْلٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ یَتْلُوْا صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةًۙ (2)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

A Messenger from Allah who recites pure scriptures. [1]

98.3

فِیْهَا كُتُبٌ قَیِّمَةٌﭤ(3)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Upright rulings are recorded therein.

98.4

وَ مَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ اِلَّا مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ الْبَیِّنَةُﭤ(4)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And those who were given the Book did not secede except after the clear proof had come to them. [1]

98.5

وَ مَاۤ اُمِرُوْۤا اِلَّا لِیَعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مُخْلِصِیْنَ لَهُ الدِّیْنَ ﳔ حُنَفَآءَ وَ یُقِیْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَ یُؤْتُوا الزَّكٰوةَ وَ ذٰلِكَ دِیْنُ الْقَیِّمَةِﭤ(5)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

They were commanded to worship only Allah—devoting ˹their˺ faith solely to Him ˹and remaining˺ away from all falsehood—to establish the prayer and to give zakat; this is the upright religion.

98.6

اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ وَ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ فِیْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدِیْنَ فِیْهَاؕ-اُولٰٓىٕكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِیَّةِﭤ(6)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

The disbelieving People of the Book and the polytheists are in the fire of Hell, they will reside therein forever; [1] it is they who are the worst of creation.

98.7

اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِۙ-اُولٰٓىٕكَ هُمْ خَیْرُ الْبَرِیَّةِﭤ(7)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Indeed those who embraced faith and performed righteous deeds; it is they who are the best of creation.

98.8

جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنّٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِیْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِیْنَ فِیْهَاۤ اَبَدًاؕ-رَضِیَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْ وَ رَضُوْا عَنْهُؕ-ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِیَ رَبَّهٗ۠ (8)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Their reward is with their Lord, Gardens of Residence beneath which rivers flow, they will reside therein forever and ever. Allah is pleased with them[1] and they are pleased with Him. This reward is for the one who fears his Lord.

98.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

In the name of Allah, the Infinitely Gracious, the Most Merciful.
