Surah Al Fath Urdu Translation

48.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

In the name of Allah, the Infinitely Gracious, the Most Merciful.

48.1

اِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبِیْنًاۙ (1)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Certainly, We have decreed for you a clear victory. [1]

48.2

لِّیَغْفِرَ لَكَ اللّٰهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْۢبِكَ وَ مَا تَاَخَّرَ وَ یُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهٗ عَلَیْكَ وَ یَهْدِیَكَ صِرَاطًا مُّسْتَقِیْمًاۙ (2)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

˹So˺ that He may forgive, ˹for your sake,˺ the past and future sins ˹of your people˺; [1] perfect His bestowal upon you, and show you the Straight Path.

48.3

وَّ یَنْصُرَكَ اللّٰهُ نَصْرًا عَزِیْزًا(3)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And ˹so˺ that Allah may help you in an exceptional manner.

48.4

هُوَ الَّذِیْۤ اَنْزَلَ السَّكِیْنَةَ فِیْ قُلُوْبِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ لِیَزْدَادُوْۤا اِیْمَانًا مَّعَ اِیْمَانِهِمْؕ-وَ لِلّٰهِ جُنُوْدُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِؕ-وَ كَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلِیْمًا حَكِیْمًاۙ (4)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

It is He who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers, increasing their conviction with ˹even more˺ certainty. [1] ToAllah belong the armies of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

48.5

لِّیُدْخِلَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِیْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِیْنَ فِیْهَا وَ یُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَیِّاٰتِهِمْؕ-وَ كَانَ ذٰلِكَ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ فَوْزًا عَظِیْمًاۙ (5)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

˹So˺ He may admit the believing men and the believing women into the Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to reside therein forever, and forgive their sins. This is the supreme achievement in the sight of Allah.

48.6

وَّ یُعَذِّبَ الْمُنٰفِقِیْنَ وَ الْمُنٰفِقٰتِ وَ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ وَ الْمُشْرِكٰتِ الظَّآنِّیْنَ بِاللّٰهِ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِؕ-عَلَیْهِمْ دَآىٕرَةُ السَّوْءِۚ-وَ غَضِبَ اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِمْ وَ لَعَنَهُمْ وَ اَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَهَنَّمَؕ-وَ سَآءَتْ مَصِیْرًا(6)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And so that He may punish the hypocritical men, the hypocritical women, the polytheistic men, and the polytheistic women who hold evil assumptions about Allah;[1] they are beset by misfortune, [2] and the Wrath of Allah is upon them. He has deprived them of mercy and has prepared Hell for them—what an evil place it is!

48.7

وَ لِلّٰهِ جُنُوْدُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِؕ-وَ كَانَ اللّٰهُ عَزِیْزًا حَكِیْمًا(7)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

To Allah belong the armies of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is Most-Exalted, Most-Wise.

48.8

اِنَّاۤ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ شَاهِدًا وَّ مُبَشِّرًا وَّ نَذِیْرًاۙ (8)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

We sent you as a witness and a bearer of glad tidings and a warner. [1]

48.9

لِّتُؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَ رَسُوْلِهٖ وَ تُعَزِّرُوْهُ وَ تُوَقِّرُوْهُؕ-وَ تُسَبِّحُوْهُ بُكْرَةً وَّ اَصِیْلًا(9)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

˹So˺ that you ˹people˺ may believe in Allah and His Messenger, support him (the Messenger), revere him, [1] and glorify Him (Allah) morning and evening.
