Para 9 Urdu Translation

7.88

قَالَ الْمَلَاُ الَّذِیْنَ اسْتَكْبَرُوْا مِنْ قَوْمِهٖ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ یٰشُعَیْبُ وَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مَعَكَ مِنْ قَرْیَتِنَاۤ اَوْ لَتَعُوْدُنَّ فِیْ مِلَّتِنَاؕ-قَالَ اَوَ لَوْ كُنَّا كٰرِهِیْنَﭦ(88)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

The conceited chiefs of his nation said [1] “O Shuʿayb! We shall most definitely banish you and the believers with you from our village or you will have to adopt our religion.” He said, “Even if we detest it?

7.89

قَدِ افْتَرَیْنَا عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اِنْ عُدْنَا فِیْ مِلَّتِكُمْ بَعْدَ اِذْ نَجّٰىنَا اللّٰهُ مِنْهَاؕ-وَ مَا یَكُوْنُ لَنَاۤ اَنْ نَّعُوْدَ فِیْهَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ یَّشَآءَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّنَاؕ-وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَیْءٍ عِلْمًاؕ-عَلَى اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْنَاؕ-رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَیْنَنَا وَ بَیْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَ اَنْتَ خَیْرُ الْفٰتِحِیْنَ(89)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Indeed we would definitely ˹be˺ ascribing a lie to Allah if we (the believers) adopt your religion after Allah saved us from it. And it is not for us that We accept your creed except that Allah, our Lord, wills.[1] The knowledge of our Lord encompasses everything;[2] we have placed our trust in Allah alone. O our Lord! Judge between us and our nation with the truth; You are the best of judges.”

7.90

وَ قَالَ الْمَلَاُ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَوْمِهٖ لَىٕنِ اتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَیْبًا اِنَّكُمْ اِذًا لَّخٰسِرُوْنَ(90)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And the disbelieving leaders from his nation said, “If you follow Shuʿayb, then indeed you shall incur loss.”[1]

7.91

فَاَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَاَصْبَحُوْا فِیْ دَارِهِمْ جٰثِمِیْنَﲢ(91)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Then a severe earthquake seized them and they were left (dead) lying upon their faces in their homes.

7.92

الَّذِیْنَ كَذَّبُوْا شُعَیْبًا كَاَنْ لَّمْ یَغْنَوْا فِیْهَاۚۛ-اَلَّذِیْنَ كَذَّبُوْا شُعَیْبًا كَانُوْا هُمُ الْخٰسِرِیْنَ(92)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Those who denied Shuʿayb became as if they had never lived within those homes; those who denied Shuʿayb became the losers.

7.93

فَتَوَلّٰى عَنْهُمْ وَ قَالَ یٰقَوْمِ لَقَدْ اَبْلَغْتُكُمْ رِسٰلٰتِ رَبِّیْ وَ نَصَحْتُ لَكُمْۚ-فَكَیْفَ اٰسٰى عَلٰى قَوْمٍ كٰفِرِیْنَ۠ (93)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

So Shuʿayb turned away from them and said, “O my nation! I surely conveyed to you the messages of my Lord, and I advised you, so how can I grieve for disbelieving people?”[1]

7.94

وَ مَاۤ اَرْسَلْنَا فِیْ قَرْیَةٍ مِّنْ نَّبِیٍّ اِلَّاۤ اَخَذْنَاۤ اَهْلَهَا بِالْبَاْسَآءِ وَ الضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَضَّرَّعُوْنَ(94)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

We did not send a messenger to any village except that We seized its inhabitants with severity and suffering that they may adopt utmost humility.

7.95

ثُمَّ بَدَّلْنَا مَكَانَ السَّیِّئَةِ الْحَسَنَةَ حَتّٰى عَفَوْا وَّ قَالُوْا قَدْ مَسَّ اٰبَآءَنَا الضَّرَّآءُ وَ السَّرَّآءُ فَاَخَذْنٰهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَّ هُمْ لَا یَشْعُرُوْنَ(95)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Then We replaced affliction (punishment) with prosperity until they increased and said, “Indeed our forefathers experienced hardship and comfort too.” So We seized them suddenly[1] while they were completely unaware.

7.96

وَ لَوْ اَنَّ اَهْلَ الْقُرٰۤى اٰمَنُوْا وَ اتَّقَوْا لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَیْهِمْ بَرَكٰتٍ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَ الْاَرْضِ وَ لٰـكِنْ كَذَّبُوْا فَاَخَذْنٰهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوْا یَكْسِبُوْنَ(96)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Had the villagers embraced faith and adopted piety, We would certainly have opened the blessings of the heavens and earth upon them, but they denied, so We seized them due to their misdeeds.

7.97

اَفَاَمِنَ اَهْلُ الْقُرٰۤى اَنْ یَّاْتِیَهُمْ بَاْسُنَا بَیَاتًا وَّ هُمْ نَآىٕمُوْنَﭤ(97)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Have the villagers become unafraid of the fact that Our punishment shall come to them by night whilst they are asleep?
