Para 23 Urdu Translation

36.22

وَ مَا لِیَ لَاۤ اَعْبُدُ الَّذِیْ فَطَرَنِیْ وَ اِلَیْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ(22)

And why should I not worship the One Who created me, and to Whom you will be returned?[1]

36.23

ءَاَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖۤ اٰلِهَةً اِنْ یُّرِدْنِ الرَّحْمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّیْ شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَیْــٴًـا وَّ لَا یُنْقِذُوْنِۚ (23)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Should I take gods other than Him whose intercession will not avail me at all, and who will not be able to save me[1] if the Infinitely Gracious wants to harm me?

36.24

اِنِّیْۤ اِذًا لَّفِیْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیْنٍ(24)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Then I would be in clear misguidance.

36.25

اِنِّیْۤ اٰمَنْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاسْمَعُوْنِﭤ(25)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Indeed I have believed in your Lord (Allah), so listen to me!”

36.26

قِیْلَ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَؕ-قَالَ یٰلَیْتَ قَوْمِیْ یَعْلَمُوْنَۙ (26)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

It was said ˹to him˺, “Enter Paradise!” He said, “Would that my nation knew.

36.27

بِمَا غَفَرَ لِیْ رَبِّیْ وَ جَعَلَنِیْ مِنَ الْمُكْرَمِیْنَ(27)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

How my Lord granted me forgiveness and included me among the esteemed.” [1]

36.28

وَ مَاۤ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلٰى قَوْمِهٖ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ مِنْ جُنْدٍ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَ مَا كُنَّا مُنْزِلِیْنَ(28)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And We did not send down an army from the sky against his nation after him nor were we about to send down ˹an army there˺.

36.29

اِنْ كَانَتْ اِلَّا صَیْحَةً وَّاحِدَةً فَاِذَا هُمْ خٰمِدُوْنَ(29)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

It was only a single ˹piercing˺ Cry, so they became extinguished.

36.30

یٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى الْعِبَادِۣۚ-مَا یَاْتِیْهِمْ مِّنْ رَّسُوْلٍ اِلَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ(30)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

˹And it was said:˺ Alas[1] for the people! A messenger did not come to them except that they mocked him.

36.31

اَلَمْ یَرَوْا كَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنَ الْقُرُوْنِ اَنَّهُمْ اِلَیْهِمْ لَا یَرْجِعُوْنَﭤ(31)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Did they not see how many nations We have destroyed before them; they will not return to them?
