Surah Al Furqan Translation

25.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Allah's Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

25.1

تَبٰرَكَ الَّذِیْ نَزَّلَ الْفُرْقَانَ عَلٰى عَبْدِهٖ لِیَكُوْنَ لِلْعٰلَمِیْنَ نَذِیْرَاﰳۙ (1)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Most Blessed is He Who has sent down the Qur'aan upon His (chosen) bondsman who may be a warner to the entire world.

25.2

الَّذِیْ لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ وَ لَمْ یَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَّ لَمْ یَكُنْ لَّهٗ شَرِیْكٌ فِی الْمُلْكِ وَ خَلَقَ كُلَّ شَیْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهٗ تَقْدِیْرًا(2)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

The One to Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and of the earth, and has not taken offspring (for Himself); there is no partner in His kingdom, and He has created everything, keeping it in proper measure.

25.3

وَ اتَّخَذُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِهٖۤ اٰلِهَةً لَّا یَخْلُقُوْنَ شَیْــٴًـا وَّ هُمْ یُخْلَقُوْنَ وَ لَا یَمْلِكُوْنَ لِاَنْفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَّ لَا نَفْعًا وَّ لَا یَمْلِكُوْنَ مَوْتًا وَّ لَا حَیٰوةً وَّ لَا نُشُوْرًا(3)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And people have appointed other gods other than Him; that they do not create anything but are themselves created, and they themselves do not have power to harm or benefit (even) themselves, and who do not have any authority over (causing) death nor life, nor over resurrection.

25.4

وَ قَالَ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْۤا اِنْ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اِفْكُ-ﰳافْتَرٰىهُ وَ اَعَانَهٗ عَلَیْهِ قَوْمٌ اٰخَرُوْنَۚۛ-فَقَدْ جَآءُوْ ظُلْمًا وَّ زُوْرًاۚۛ (4)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And the infidels said, 'This (i.e. the Qur'aan) is nothing but slander which he (i.e. the Beloved Prophet Muhammad) has fabricated and others have (also) helped him upon it.' Thus, they (the infidels) have indeed stooped to injustice and lie.

25.5

وَ قَالُوْۤا اَسَاطِیْرُ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ اكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِیَ تُمْلٰى عَلَیْهِ بُكْرَةً وَّ اَصِیْلًا(5)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And they said, 'These are stories of the former people which he (i.e. the Beloved Prophet Muhammad) has written down, they are hence read to him morning and evening.'

25.6

قُلْ اَنْزَلَهُ الَّذِیْ یَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِؕ-اِنَّهٗ كَانَ غَفُوْرًا رَّحِیْمًا(6)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Say you (O Beloved), 'It is sent down by Him Who knows all the secrets of the heavens and the earth; indeed, He is Most Forgiving, Ever Merciful.'

25.7

وَ قَالُوْا مَالِ هٰذَا الرَّسُوْلِ یَاْكُلُ الطَّعَامَ وَ یَمْشِیْ فِی الْاَسْوَاقِؕ-لَوْ لَاۤ اُنْزِلَ اِلَیْهِ مَلَكٌ فَیَكُوْنَ مَعَهٗ نَذِیْرًاۙ (7)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And they said, 'What happened to this Messenger that he eats food and walks in the marketplaces? Why was not an angel sent down along with him, to give warning along with him?'

25.8

اَوْ یُلْقٰۤى اِلَیْهِ كَنْزٌ اَوْ تَكُوْنُ لَهٗ جَنَّةٌ یَّاْكُلُ مِنْهَاؕ-وَ قَالَ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ اِنْ تَتَّبِعُوْنَ اِلَّا رَجُلًا مَّسْحُوْرًا(8)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

'Or he should have attained a treasure from the unseen, or should have had a garden from which he would eat.' And the unjust said, 'You do not follow but such a man who has been afflicted with magic.'

25.9

اُنْظُرْ كَیْفَ ضَرَبُوْا لَكَ الْاَمْثَالَ فَضَلُّوْا فَلَا یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَ سَبِیْلًا۠ (9)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

O Beloved, see how they fabricate similitudes about you, they have therefore gone astray; unable to find any path.
