Surah Al Mudassir Translation

74.1

یٰۤاَیُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُۙ (1)

O you who is enveloped in a cloak (i.e. the Prophet Muhammad).

74.2

قُمْ فَاَنْذِرْﭪ (2)

Stand up and then warn.

74.3

وَ رَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْﭪ (3)

And proclaim the Purity of only your Lord.

74.4

وَ ثِیَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْﭪ (4)

And keep your clothes pure.

74.5

وَ الرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْﭪ (5)

And keep away from the idols.

74.6

وَ لَا تَمْنُنْ تَسْتَكْثِرُﭪ (6)

And do not do a favour upon anyone in order to receive more (in return).

74.7

وَ لِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْﭤ(7)

And for the sake of your Lord, remain patient.

74.8

فَاِذَا نُقِرَ فِی النَّاقُوْرِۙ (8)

So, when the Trumpet will be blown.

74.9

فَذٰلِكَ یَوْمَىٕذٍ یَّوْمٌ عَسِیْرٌۙ (9)

So, that Day is a harsh Day.

74.10

عَلَى الْكٰفِرِیْنَ غَیْرُ یَسِیْرٍ(10)

(That Day is) not easy upon the disbelievers.
