Surah Al Jathiyah Translation

45.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Allah's Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

45.1

حٰمٓۚ (1)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Ha-Meem. (These are individual letters of the Arabic alphabet; Allah and His Messenger know their exact meanings.)

45.2

تَنْزِیْلُ الْكِتٰبِ مِنَ اللّٰهِ الْعَزِیْزِ الْحَكِیْمِ(2)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

The sending down of the Book (i.e. the Qur'aan) is from Allah, the Honourable, the Wise.

45.3

اِنَّ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَﭤ(3)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Indeed, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers.

45.4

وَ فِیْ خَلْقِكُمْ وَ مَا یَبُثُّ مِنْ دَآبَّةٍ اٰیٰتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ یُّوْقِنُوْنَۙ (4)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And in your creation, and whichever animals He scatters in the earth; in them are signs for the people of certainty.

45.5

وَ اخْتِلَافِ الَّیْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ وَ مَاۤ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مِنْ رِّزْقٍ فَاَحْیَا بِهِ الْاَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَ تَصْرِیْفِ الرِّیٰحِ اٰیٰتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ یَّعْقِلُوْنَ(5)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And in the alternation of the night and the day, and in this that Allah sends down rain from the sky as a means of sustenance, so with it, He gave life to the earth after its death, and in the revolving around of the winds; (in all of these) are signs for the people of intellect.

45.6

تِلْكَ اٰیٰتُ اللّٰهِ نَتْلُوْهَا عَلَیْكَ بِالْحَقِّۚ-فَبِاَیِّ حَدِیْثٍۭ بَعْدَ اللّٰهِ وَ اٰیٰتِهٖ یُؤْمِنُوْنَ(6)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

These are the verses of Allah that We recite upon you with the truth; then leaving Allah and His verses, what will they believe in?

45.7

وَیْلٌ لِّكُلِّ اَفَّاكٍ اَثِیْمٍۙ (7)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Ruin is for every great slandering sinner.

45.8

یَّسْمَعُ اٰیٰتِ اللّٰهِ تُتْلٰى عَلَیْهِ ثُمَّ یُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَاَنْ لَّمْ یَسْمَعْهَاۚ-فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِیْمٍ(8)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

(Who) hears the verses of Allah which are recited to him, then remains stubborn, displaying arrogance, as if he did not hear them; therefore, give him the good news of a painful punishment.

45.9

وَ اِذَا عَلِمَ مِنْ اٰیٰتِنَا شَیْــٴَـاﰳ اتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاؕ-اُولٰٓىٕكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِیْنٌﭤ(9)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And when he comes to know about any of Our verses, he mocks them; for them is a disgraceful punishment.
