Surah At Tin Translation

95.1

وَ التِّیْنِ وَ الزَّیْتُوْنِۙ (1)

By the oath of the fig and the olive.

95.2

وَ طُوْرِ سِیْنِیْنَۙ (2)

And by Mount Sinai.

95.3

وَ هٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْاَمِیْنِۙ (3)

And by this secure city (i.e. Makkah).

95.4

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ فِیْۤ اَحْسَنِ تَقْوِیْمٍ٘ (4)

We have indeed created man in the best form.

95.5

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنٰهُ اَسْفَلَ سٰفِلِیْنَۙ (5)

We then turned him towards the lowest of the low state (i.e. old age).

95.6

اِلَّا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فَلَهُمْ اَجْرٌ غَیْرُ مَمْنُوْنٍﭤ(6)

Except those who believed and did good deeds, that for them is limitless reward.

95.7

فَمَا یُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّیْنِﭤ(7)

Now (after all these proofs), what causes you to belie the Judgement (Day)?

95.8

اَلَیْسَ اللّٰهُ بِاَحْكَمِ الْحٰكِمِیْنَ۠ (8)

Is Allah not the Greatest Ruler of all rulers?

95.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Allah's Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
