Surah Az Zilzal Translation

99.1

اِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْاَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَاۙ (1)

When the earth is shaken violently with its destined tremor.

99.2

وَ اَخْرَجَتِ الْاَرْضُ اَثْقَالَهَاۙ (2)

And (when) the earth casts out (all of) its burdens.

99.3

وَ قَالَ الْاِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَاۙ (3)

And mankind says, 'What has happened to it?'

99.4

یَوْمَىٕذٍ تُحَدِّثُ اَخْبَارَهَاؕ (4)

On that Day, the earth will narrate (all) its news.

99.5

بِاَنَّ رَبَّكَ اَوْحٰى لَهَاﭤ(5)

Because your Lord sent a command to it.

99.6

یَوْمَىٕذٍ یَّصْدُرُ النَّاسُ اَشْتَاتًا ﳔ لِّیُرَوْا اَعْمَالَهُمْﭤ(6)

On that Day, people will return towards their Lord, in different paths, in order to be shown their deeds.

99.7

فَمَنْ یَّعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَیْرًا یَّرَهٗﭤ(7)

So, whosoever does a good deed equal to the weight of an atom, (he) shall see it.

99.8

وَ مَنْ یَّعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا یَّرَهٗ۠ (8)

And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of an atom, (he) shall see it.

99.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Allah's Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
