Surah An Nahl Translation

16.0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Allah's Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

16.1

اَتٰۤى اَمْرُ اللّٰهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوْهُؕ-سُبْحٰنَهٗ وَ تَعٰلٰى عَمَّا یُشْرِكُوْنَ(1)

The command of Allah (regarding the Day of Judgement) is about to come, do not therefore seek to hasten it. Glory and Grandeur are to Him over all the partners they ascribe.

16.2

یُنَزِّلُ الْمَلٰٓىٕكَةَ بِالرُّوْحِ مِنْ اَمْرِهٖ عَلٰى مَنْ یَّشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهٖۤ اَنْ اَنْذِرُوْۤا اَنَّهٗ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّاۤ اَنَا فَاتَّقُوْنِ(2)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

He sends down the angels with the soul of faith i.e. the revelation towards those of His bondsmen He wills. That (O Prophets) 'Give warning that there is no one worthy of worship except Me; so, fear Me.'

16.3

خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّؕ-تَعٰلٰى عَمَّا یُشْرِكُوْنَ(3)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

He created the heavens and the earth accurately. Supreme is He above their ascribing of partners (to Him).

16.4

خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ نُّطْفَةٍ فَاِذَا هُوَ خَصِیْمٌ مُّبِیْنٌ(4)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

He created man from a refined drop (i.e. sperm), so, thereby he (i.e. man) became an open disputer.

16.5

وَ الْاَنْعَامَ خَلَقَهَاۚ-لَكُمْ فِیْهَا دِفْءٌ وَّ مَنَافِعُ وَ مِنْهَا تَاْكُلُوْنَ(5)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And (He) created cattle; in them are warm clothing for you and various uses, and (also) you eat therefrom.

16.6

وَ لَكُمْ فِیْهَا جَمَالٌ حِیْنَ تُرِیْحُوْنَ وَ حِیْنَ تَسْرَحُوْنَ۪ (6)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And in them is elegance for you when you bring them back in the evening and when you leave them to graze.

16.7

وَ تَحْمِلُ اَثْقَالَكُمْ اِلٰى بَلَدٍ لَّمْ تَكُوْنُوْا بٰلِغِیْهِ اِلَّا بِشِقِّ الْاَنْفُسِؕ-اِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوْفٌ رَّحِیْمٌۙ (7)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And they transport your loads to such a town where you could not have reached except half-dead. Indeed, your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

16.8

وَّ الْخَیْلَ وَ الْبِغَالَ وَ الْحَمِیْرَ لِتَرْكَبُوْهَا وَ زِیْنَةًؕ-وَ یَخْلُقُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ(8)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And horses, and mules and donkeys upon which you may ride and for adornment; and He will create further, of which you are not aware.

16.9

وَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِیْلِ وَ مِنْهَا جَآىٕرٌؕ-وَ لَوْ شَآءَ لَهَدٰىكُمْ اَجْمَعِیْنَ۠ (9)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And the middle path is precisely to Allah, and some path is crooked. And had He willed, He would have henceforth brought all of you upon guidance.
