Para 13 Translation

12.53

وَ مَاۤ اُبَرِّئُ نَفْسِیْۚ-اِنَّ النَّفْسَ لَاَمَّارَةٌۢ بِالسُّوْٓءِ اِلَّا مَا رَحِمَ رَبِّیْؕ-اِنَّ رَبِّیْ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِیْمٌ(53)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

(Yusuf said to display humility) 'And I do not describe my own self free from blame; undoubtedly, the baser-self commands evil excessively except upon whom my Lord has mercy; indeed, my Lord is Most Forgiving, Ever Merciful.'

12.54

وَ قَالَ الْمَلِكُ ائْتُوْنِیْ بِهٖۤ اَسْتَخْلِصْهُ لِنَفْسِیْۚ-فَلَمَّا كَلَّمَهٗ قَالَ اِنَّكَ الْیَوْمَ لَدَیْنَا مَكِیْنٌ اَمِیْنٌ(54)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And the king said, 'Bring him to me so that I may select him especially for myself.' Then, when he (the king) spoke to him, he (the king) said, 'Indeed, today you are with us (as); the honourable, the trusted.'

12.55

قَالَ اجْعَلْنِیْ عَلٰى خَزَآىٕنِ الْاَرْضِۚ-اِنِّیْ حَفِیْظٌ عَلِیْمٌ(55)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Said Yusuf, 'Appoint me (as an authority) over the treasures of the land. Indeed, I am a protector, knowledgeable.'

12.56

وَ كَذٰلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِیُوْسُفَ فِی الْاَرْضِۚ-یَتَبَوَّاُ مِنْهَا حَیْثُ یَشَآءُؕ-نُصِیْبُ بِرَحْمَتِنَا مَنْ نَّشَآءُ وَ لَا نُضِیْعُ اَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ(56)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And this is how We gave Yusuf control over that land; to live therein wherever he desires. We may convey Our Mercy to whomever We will, and We do not waste the reward of the righteous.

12.57

وَ لَاَجْرُ الْاٰخِرَةِ خَیْرٌ لِّلَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ كَانُوْا یَتَّقُوْنَ۠ (57)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And the reward of the Hereafter is undoubtedly better for those who accepted faith and remained pious.

12.58

وَ جَآءَ اِخْوَةُ یُوْسُفَ فَدَخَلُوْا عَلَیْهِ فَعَرَفَهُمْ وَ هُمْ لَهٗ مُنْكِرُوْنَ(58)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And the brothers of Yusuf came and thus presented themselves before him, Yusuf therefore recognised them; whereas, they remained unaware of him.

12.59

وَ لَمَّا جَهَّزَهُمْ بِجَهَازِهِمْ قَالَ ائْتُوْنِیْ بِاَخٍ لَّكُمْ مِّنْ اَبِیْكُمْۚ-اَلَا تَرَوْنَ اَنِّیْۤ اُوْفِی الْكَیْلَ وَ اَنَا خَیْرُ الْمُنْزِلِیْنَ(59)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And when he provided them with their luggage (of food), he said, 'Bring your step-brother to me. Do you not see that I measure in full and that I am the best in hospitality?'

12.60

فَاِنْ لَّمْ تَاْتُوْنِیْ بِهٖ فَلَا كَیْلَ لَكُمْ عِنْدِیْ وَ لَا تَقْرَبُوْنِ(60)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

'If you do not then bring him to me, there shall therefore be no measure (i.e. provisions) for you with me and do not ever come near me.'

12.61

قَالُوْا سَنُرَاوِدُ عَنْهُ اَبَاهُ وَ اِنَّا لَفٰعِلُوْنَ(61)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

They said, 'We will request for him from his father; and this we have to do.'

12.62

وَ قَالَ لِفِتْیٰنِهِ اجْعَلُوْا بِضَاعَتَهُمْ فِیْ رِحَالِهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَعْرِفُوْنَهَاۤ اِذَا انْقَلَبُوْۤا اِلٰۤى اَهْلِهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَرْجِعُوْنَ(62)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And Yusuf said to his servants, 'Place their money into their sacks, perhaps they may recognise it when they return to their home, perhaps they may return.'
