Surah Al Maidah Ayat 101 Translation

Para 7 - وَ اِذَا سَمِعُوْا

سورة الماىدة

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

5.101

یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَسْــٴَـلُوْا عَنْ اَشْیَآءَ اِنْ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْۚ-وَ اِنْ تَسْــٴَـلُوْا عَنْهَا حِیْنَ یُنَزَّلُ الْقُرْاٰنُ تُبْدَ لَكُمْؕ-عَفَا اللّٰهُ عَنْهَاؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِیْمٌ(101)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

O believers! Do not ask regarding (vain) matters (if the rulings of) which are disclosed to you, they therefore displease you (i.e. you should practise what is not prohibited without asking its ruling). And if you ask about them while the Qur'aan is being revealed; so, they will be disclosed to you (i.e. they may be made unlawful because of your questioning). Allah has forgiven them (i.e. the matters not mentioned in the Qur'aan), and Allah is Most Forgiving, Ever Forbearing.
