Surah Al Mudassir Ayat 31 Translation

Para 29 - تَبٰرَكَ الَّذِیْ

سورة المدثر

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

74.31

وَ مَا جَعَلْنَاۤ اَصْحٰبَ النَّارِ اِلَّا مَلٰٓىٕكَةً۪-وَّ مَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ اِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْاۙ-لِیَسْتَیْقِنَ الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ وَ یَزْدَادَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اِیْمَانًا وَّ لَا یَرْتَابَ الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَۙ-وَ لِیَقُوْلَ الَّذِیْنَ فِیْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ وَّ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ مَا ذَاۤ اَرَادَ اللّٰهُ بِهٰذَا مَثَلًاؕ-كَذٰلِكَ یُضِلُّ اللّٰهُ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ وَ یَهْدِیْ مَنْ یَّشَآءُؕ-وَ مَا یَعْلَمُ جُنُوْدَ رَبِّكَ اِلَّا هُوَؕ-وَ مَا هِیَ اِلَّا ذِكْرٰى لِلْبَشَرِ۠ (31)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And We have not fixed the guards of Hell except angels; and We did not fix this number but to test the disbelievers, in order that the People of the Book may attain certainty, and to increase the faith of the believers, and the People of the Book and the Muslims may not have any doubt, and those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy) and the disbelievers may say, 'What does Allah mean by this astounding example?' This is how Allah causes to go astray whomever He wills and guides whomsoever He wills, and no one knows the armies of your Lord except Him, and that (i.e. Hell and its attributes, or the verses of the Qur'aan) is not but advice to mankind.
