Surah Hud Ayat 116 Translation

Para 12 - وَ مَا مِنْ دَآبَّةٍ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

11.116

فَلَوْ لَا كَانَ مِنَ الْقُرُوْنِ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ اُولُوْا بَقِیَّةٍ یَّنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْفَسَادِ فِی الْاَرْضِ اِلَّا قَلِیْلًا مِّمَّنْ اَنْجَیْنَا مِنْهُمْۚ-وَ اتَّبَعَ الَّذِیْنَ ظَلَمُوْا مَاۤ اُتْرِفُوْا فِیْهِ وَ كَانُوْا مُجْرِمِیْنَ(116)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

So, why were there not some amongst you from the generations before you; such people who had some share of righteousness who could have prevented turmoil on the earth? Yes; there were only a few whom We had rescued, and the unjust remained pursuing the luxury which was given to them, and they were sinners.
