Surah Yusuf Ayat 80 Translation

Para 13 - وَ مَاۤ اُبَرِّئُ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

12.80

فَلَمَّا اسْتَایْــٴَـسُوْا مِنْهُ خَلَصُوْا نَجِیًّاؕ-قَالَ كَبِیْرُهُمْ اَلَمْ تَعْلَمُوْۤا اَنَّ اَبَاكُمْ قَدْ اَخَذَ عَلَیْكُمْ مَّوْثِقًا مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَ مِنْ قَبْلُ مَا فَرَّطْتُّمْ فِیْ یُوْسُفَۚ-فَلَنْ اَبْرَحَ الْاَرْضَ حَتّٰى یَاْذَنَ لِیْۤ اَبِیْۤ اَوْ یَحْكُمَ اللّٰهُ لِیْۚ-وَ هُوَ خَیْرُ الْحٰكِمِیْنَ(80)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Then, when they lost hope in him, they went aside and started discussing with each other in secrecy. Their eldest brother said, 'Do you not know that your father has taken from you a solemn pledge of Allah, and before this, how you had fallen short in your duty regarding Yusuf? Therefore, I will not move from here until my father permits or Allah commands me; and His command is the best.'
