Para 3 Translation

2.253

تِلْكَ الرُّسُلُ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍۘ-مِنْهُمْ مَّنْ كَلَّمَ اللّٰهُ وَ رَفَعَ بَعْضَهُمْ دَرَجٰتٍؕ-وَ اٰتَیْنَا عِیْسَى ابْنَ مَرْیَمَ الْبَیِّنٰتِ وَ اَیَّدْنٰهُ بِرُوْحِ الْقُدُسِؕ-وَ لَوْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ مَا اقْتَتَلَ الَّذِیْنَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهِمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ الْبَیِّنٰتُ وَ لٰـكِنِ اخْتَلَفُوْا فَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ اٰمَنَ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَّنْ كَفَرَؕ-وَ لَوْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ مَا اقْتَتَلُوْا۫-وَ لٰـكِنَّ اللّٰهَ یَفْعَلُ مَا یُرِیْدُ۠ (253)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

These are Messengers; that We have exalted one above the other; amongst them is one with whom Allah spoke, and one is he whom (Allah) elevated in rank above all. And We gave 'Eisa; the son of Maryam clear signs and We helped him with the Pure Spirit (i.e. the angel Jibra'eel). And had Allah willed, those who came after them would not have therefore fought with each other after clear signs had come to them, but they differed; some amongst them remained believers and some became disbelievers. And had Allah willed, they would not have therefore fought, but Allah does as He wills.

2.254

یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اَنْفِقُوْا مِمَّا رَزَقْنٰكُمْ مِّنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ یَّاْتِیَ یَوْمٌ لَّا بَیْعٌ فِیْهِ وَ لَا خُلَّةٌ وَّ لَا شَفَاعَةٌؕ-وَ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ(254)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

O believers! Spend in the path of Allah from what We have provided you, before the arrival of that Day in which there is no trading, and for the disbelievers no friendship nor intercession. And the disbelievers themselves are the unjust.

2.255

اَللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ-اَلْحَیُّ الْقَیُّوْمُ ﳛ لَا تَاْخُذُهٗ سِنَةٌ وَّ لَا نَوْمٌؕ-لَهٗ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَا فِی الْاَرْضِؕ-مَنْ ذَا الَّذِیْ یَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهٗۤ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِهٖؕ-یَعْلَمُ مَا بَیْنَ اَیْدِیْهِمْ وَ مَا خَلْفَهُمْۚ-وَ لَا یُحِیْطُوْنَ بِشَیْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهٖۤ اِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَۚ-وَسِعَ كُرْسِیُّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضَۚ-وَ لَا یَـٴُـوْدُهٗ حِفْظُهُمَاۚ-وَ هُوَ الْعَلِیُّ الْعَظِیْمُ(255)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Allah is (worthy of worship); there is no one worthy of worship except Him. He is Alive on His own accord and the Preserver of (all) others. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overcomes Him, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth belongs to Him alone; who is the one who can intercede in His Domain without His permission? He knows whatever is in front of them and whatever is behind them; and they (i.e. people) do not attain from His knowledge except as much as He wills. The heavens and the earth are encompassed in His Throne and their protection is not a burden for Him. And only He is the Supreme, the Great.

2.256

لَاۤ اِكْرَاهَ فِی الدِّیْنِ ﳜ قَدْ تَّبَیَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَیِّۚ-فَمَنْ یَّكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوْتِ وَ یُؤْمِنْۢ بِاللّٰهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقٰىۗ-لَا انْفِصَامَ لَهَاؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ سَمِیْعٌ عَلِیْمٌ(256)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

There is no compulsion at all in the religion (of Islam). Undoubtedly, the right path has become very distinct from misguidance; and whoever rejects the Devil and believes in Allah, he has grasped a very firm knot (of correct beliefs) which is never to be opened. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

2.257

اَللّٰهُ وَلِیُّ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْاۙ-یُخْرِجُهُمْ مِّنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَى النُّوْرِ۬ؕ-وَ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْۤا اَوْلِیٰٓـٴُـھُمُ الطَّاغُوْتُۙ- یُخْرِجُوْنَهُمْ مِّنَ النُّوْرِ اِلَى الظُّلُمٰتِؕ-اُولٰٓىٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ النَّارِۚ-هُمْ فِیْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ۠ (257)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Allah is the Protector of the Muslims; He brings them out from darknesses towards light. And the supporters of the disbelievers are the devils; they take them out from the light towards the darknesses; it is they who are the dwellers of Hell, they are to remain therein forever.

2.258

اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِیْ حَآجَّ اِبْرٰهٖمَ فِیْ رَبِّهٖۤ اَنْ اٰتٰىهُ اللّٰهُ الْمُلْكَۘ-اِذْ قَالَ اِبْرٰهٖمُ رَبِّیَ الَّذِیْ یُحْیٖ وَ یُمِیْتُۙ-قَالَ اَنَا اُحْیٖ وَ اُمِیْتُؕ-قَالَ اِبْرٰهٖمُ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ یَاْتِیْ بِالشَّمْسِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ فَاْتِ بِهَا مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ فَبُهِتَ الَّذِیْ كَفَرَؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ لَا یَهْدِی الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِیْنَۚ (258)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

O Beloved, did you not see him (i.e. Namrood) who clashed with Ibrahim concerning his Lord, (merely) because Allah had given him kingship? When Ibrahim said, 'My Lord is He Who gives life and causes death,' he said, 'I give life and cause death.' Ibrahim said, 'So, Allah brings the sun from the East, you should (try to) bring it from the West!' So, the disbeliever was utterly confounded, and Allah does not guide the unjust.

2.259

اَوْ كَالَّذِیْ مَرَّ عَلٰى قَرْیَةٍ وَّ هِیَ خَاوِیَةٌ عَلٰى عُرُوْشِهَاۚ-قَالَ اَنّٰى یُحْیٖ هٰذِهِ اللّٰهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَاۚ-فَاَمَاتَهُ اللّٰهُ مِائَةَ عَامٍ ثُمَّ بَعَثَهٗؕ-قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتَؕ-قَالَ لَبِثْتُ یَوْمًا اَوْ بَعْضَ یَوْمٍؕ-قَالَ بَلْ لَّبِثْتَ مِائَةَ عَامٍ فَانْظُرْ اِلٰى طَعَامِكَ وَ شَرَابِكَ لَمْ یَتَسَنَّهْۚ-وَ انْظُرْ اِلٰى حِمَارِكَ وَ لِنَجْعَلَكَ اٰیَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَ انْظُرْ اِلَى الْعِظَامِ كَیْفَ نُنْشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوْهَا لَحْمًاؕ-فَلَمَّا تَبَیَّنَ لَهٗۙ-قَالَ اَعْلَمُ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ(259)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Or like the one (i.e. the Prophet 'Uzair) who passed through a village, and that (village) was lying collapsed on its roofs. He said, 'How will Allah revive it, after it had perished?' So, Allah left him dead for a hundred years, then brought him back to life. He (Allah) said, 'How long have you remained here?' He submitted, 'I stayed maybe for a day or a part of it.' He (Allah) said, 'Rather, a hundred years have passed you by, and observe your food and drink which has not yet produced a stale odour, and observe your donkey (the bones of which were not even intact); and this was done so that We may make you a sign for the people, and observe the bones as to how We raise them and then cover them with flesh.' When the matter became clear to him, he said, 'I know very well that Allah is Able to do everything.'

2.260

وَ اِذْ قَالَ اِبْرٰهٖمُ رَبِّ اَرِنِیْ كَیْفَ تُحْیِ الْمَوْتٰىؕ-قَالَ اَوَ لَمْ تُؤْمِنْؕ-قَالَ بَلٰى وَ لٰـكِنْ لِّیَطْمَىٕنَّ قَلْبِیْؕ-قَالَ فَخُذْ اَرْبَعَةً مِّنَ الطَّیْرِ فَصُرْهُنَّ اِلَیْكَ ثُمَّ اجْعَلْ عَلٰى كُلِّ جَبَلٍ مِّنْهُنَّ جُزْءًا ثُمَّ ادْعُهُنَّ یَاْتِیْنَكَ سَعْیًاؕ-وَ اعْلَمْ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ عَزِیْزٌ حَكِیْمٌ۠ (260)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And when Ibrahim submitted, 'O my Lord, show me how You will revive the dead?' He (Allah) said, 'Do you not believe?' Ibrahim submitted, 'Why not? But I wish to put my heart at ease.' So, (Allah) said, 'Well, take four birds and familiarise them to yourself, then (after slaughtering them), place a part of each of them on separate mountains, then call them; they will come running to you on their feet. And know that Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.'

2.261

مَثَلُ الَّذِیْنَ یُنْفِقُوْنَ اَمْوَالَهُمْ فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ اَنْۢبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِیْ كُلِّ سُنْۢبُلَةٍ مِّائَةُ حَبَّةٍؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ یُضٰعِفُ لِمَنْ یَّشَآءُؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِیْمٌ(261)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

The example of those who spend their wealth in the path of Allah is similar to a grain which has sprouted seven ears (of wheat), and each ear contains a hundred grains; and Allah may increase even more than this for whomsoever He wills, and Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.

2.262

اَلَّذِیْنَ یُنْفِقُوْنَ اَمْوَالَهُمْ فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ لَا یُتْبِعُوْنَ مَاۤ اَنْفَقُوْا مَنًّا وَّ لَاۤ اَذًىۙ-لَّهُمْ اَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْۚ-وَ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَیْهِمْ وَ لَا هُمْ یَحْزَنُوْنَ(262)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

Those who spend their wealth in the path of Allah, and after spending they do not boast of their favour nor taunt; their reward is with their Lord; they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.
