Surah An Noor Ayat 31 Translation

Para 18 - قَدْ اَفْلَحَ

سورة النور

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

24.31

وَ قُلْ لِّلْمُؤْمِنٰتِ یَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ اَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَ یَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوْجَهُنَّ وَ لَا یُبْدِیْنَ زِیْنَتَهُنَّ اِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَ لْیَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلٰى جُیُوْبِهِنَّ۪-وَ لَا یُبْدِیْنَ زِیْنَتَهُنَّ اِلَّا لِبُعُوْلَتِهِنَّ اَوْ اٰبَآىٕهِنَّ اَوْ اٰبَآءِ بُعُوْلَتِهِنَّ اَوْ اَبْنَآىٕهِنَّ اَوْ اَبْنَآءِ بُعُوْلَتِهِنَّ اَوْ اِخْوَانِهِنَّ اَوْ بَنِیْۤ اِخْوَانِهِنَّ اَوْ بَنِیْۤ اَخَوٰتِهِنَّ اَوْ نِسَآىٕهِنَّ اَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ اَیْمَانُهُنَّ اَوِ التّٰبِعِیْنَ غَیْرِ اُولِی الْاِرْبَةِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ اَوِ الطِّفْلِ الَّذِیْنَ لَمْ یَظْهَرُوْا عَلٰى عَوْرٰتِ النِّسَآءِ۪-وَ لَا یَضْرِبْنَ بِاَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِیُعْلَمَ مَا یُخْفِیْنَ مِنْ زِیْنَتِهِنَّؕ-وَ تُوْبُوْۤا اِلَى اللّٰهِ جَمِیْعًا اَیُّهَ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُوْنَ(31)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And command the Muslim women to keep their gaze slightly low, and to protect their chastity, and not to reveal their adornment except what is apparent itself, and to keep the head-covering wrapped over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment except to their own husbands, or fathers, or husbands' fathers; or their own sons or their husbands' sons; or their brothers or their brothers' sons or sisters' sons; or women of their own religion, or the handmaids whom they possess, or servants provided that they are not men of carnal desire, or such children who do not yet know women's private aspects of intimacy, and not to stamp their feet forcibly on the ground in order that their hidden adornment be known. And O Muslims! All of you turn towards Allah in repentance, in the hope of attaining success.
