Surah An Noor Ayat 60 Translation

Para 18 - قَدْ اَفْلَحَ

سورة النور

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

24.60

وَ الْقَوَاعِدُ مِنَ النِّسَآءِ الّٰتِیْ لَا یَرْجُوْنَ نِكَاحًا فَلَیْسَ عَلَیْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ اَنْ یَّضَعْنَ ثِیَابَهُنَّ غَیْرَ مُتَبَرِّجٰتٍۭ بِزِیْنَةٍؕ-وَ اَنْ یَّسْتَعْفِفْنَ خَیْرٌ لَّهُنَّؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ سَمِیْعٌ عَلِیْمٌ(60)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

And the elderly domestic women who do not have hope of marriage, there is no sin for them if they remove their upper garments (i.e. extra coverings, etc.) provided they do not display their adornment, and to refrain from this is even better for them. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
