Surah Al Baqarah Ayat 258 Translation

Para 3 - تِلْكَ الرُّسُلُ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

2.258

اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِیْ حَآجَّ اِبْرٰهٖمَ فِیْ رَبِّهٖۤ اَنْ اٰتٰىهُ اللّٰهُ الْمُلْكَۘ-اِذْ قَالَ اِبْرٰهٖمُ رَبِّیَ الَّذِیْ یُحْیٖ وَ یُمِیْتُۙ-قَالَ اَنَا اُحْیٖ وَ اُمِیْتُؕ-قَالَ اِبْرٰهٖمُ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ یَاْتِیْ بِالشَّمْسِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ فَاْتِ بِهَا مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ فَبُهِتَ الَّذِیْ كَفَرَؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ لَا یَهْدِی الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِیْنَۚ (258)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

O Beloved, did you not see him (i.e. Namrood) who clashed with Ibrahim concerning his Lord, (merely) because Allah had given him kingship? When Ibrahim said, 'My Lord is He Who gives life and causes death,' he said, 'I give life and cause death.' Ibrahim said, 'So, Allah brings the sun from the East, you should (try to) bring it from the West!' So, the disbeliever was utterly confounded, and Allah does not guide the unjust.
